Baking trays gone rusty?

Don’t chuck them away.

Give the surfaces a good scrub with a Brillo pad or scourer with lots of detergent until the rust is gone.

After you’ve done your baking, wipe the surface over with a very light coating of vegetable oil on some kitchen paper, then store in plastic bags to keep the dust off.
